French Connection – Sexy, Stylish and a Whole Lot of Attitude!

If you had to ask me which season is my favorite, I couldn't answer you. I really love and enjoy all 4 seasons because they are so different but give back something special and graceful. Each season is filled with it's own kind of beautiful and it is our job to look stylish and chic all year round.

Winter's are just a smidge more exciting for me because snow means Christmas is around the corner and Christmas means family is in town. I'd love to go out and make a snowman but south Florida never gets snow - not like it did in January 19, 1977, so we are left making a sandman and playing sand fight. However, our summery winters offer warm weathers, sunny beaches and Santa's in speedo's.

I decided that it was time to see real snow and to remember how the cold weather actually feels. My destination was Denmark. Their winters are chilly and dark - exactly what I was looking for. I was so excited but I needed to go coat shopping 'ASAP' and one place i know that I can always trust for winter, quality clothing is French Connection. They rock my socks with their modern and trendy styles. Let's explore a little 🙂

Our malls don’t really carry winter clothes that could outstand the real winter season and French Connection was there to help me choose a coat that I really love and kept me warm the whole time. Below are some pictures of my trip to Denmark.

It's a faux fur wool belted anorak coat. It comes with side pockets, which is a must for me, and a belt to show off your figure and your hips. Since I already own a black and grey coat, this time I went with the brown color. Even though I am not a fan of brown color, seeing the details of two different browns working together kind of worked for me too and it also gave the coat that distinct look. Who knew that women can look this sexy in their winter coats 🙂

If you haven't heard about French Connection - this is a quick info about the brand that you are about to fall in love with. It was founded by Stephen Marks in 1969 but it wasn’t until 1972 when Marks introduce French Connection as a label. Their headquarters were based out of Bow, East London led by Nicole Farhi who worked with major French and Italian companies.

French Connection has about 1000 designs that have their pieces showcased for us to love and enjoy. Since being top leading fashion brand in the UK, they have expanded into the U.S market as well, opening up stores in Nevada and New York. Hopefully they will open another store in Maimi so I can buy everything they have to offer. My fingers are crossed!!

Here are some of my favorite pieces that I couldn't resist to post.

Taormina, Italy.

FCUK by French Connection!

FCUK is a shorter and sharper name that stand for French connection. FCUK was launched as a simple ad campaign in 1997 and today it is one of the recognized brands. FCUK is super shocking when you first read it, however it certainly made you think. French connection identifies this brand as bold, witty and intelligent.

FCUK is so popular in Europe that It has made it's way to Taormina, Italy. Everywhere I went, there it was FCUK following my footsteps until I finally gave in and bought everything they had - I was the happiest fashionista walking the streets of Taormina.

End Note:

French Connection is an awesome brand that I truly love and respect. Their quirky fashion styles and designs are truly unique and I love being unique. The coat that I purchased from them was the best money I've ever spent so don't waste your time and start shopping!

XoXo Nina

I love that brown coat at the beginning. It’s so hard to find puffer coats that don’t make you look like the Michelin man!
